I have over 30 years experience in the medical field.  I have worked in hospitals, emergency rooms, clinics and schools in many different roles of nurse, supervisor and nurse practitioner.

 

 In 2004, I started a path toward a more holistic way of living, including changes in lifestyle.   I was drawn to energy work and Reiki, a Japaness form of energy healing that was brought to the US in the 40's and has exploded across the US.  My Reiki Master/Teacher is Dawn Fleming and our lineage goes back to the originator of Reiki: Master Usui.  I receceived Certification in June of 2006 and have been sharing the gift of energy healing and balance since then.

 

In August  2006, I had a vision of opening my own business.  I was content to offer Reiki as a side job in addition to my full time work in the Baltimore City Schools.  However, in March of 2007, It became clear to me I wanted to do Reiki full time, so I 'retired'  from full time work and set up Harmony With Reiki.

 

Since then I have shared Reiki at health fairs, senior centors, hospitals and clinics.  I am currently thrilled to be a Volunteer with the Easton Project, giving Reiki to hospital patients on the Eastern Shore. 

 

I am a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals, Catonsville Wellness Center and  the Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerse.
